Why Your AC Leaks Every June
Mumbai monsoon hits and suddenly your split AC is dripping onto the bedroom floor. Most people call the brand's service centre and wait a week. Ramesh fixes it in the same afternoon.
The culprit is almost always the same: the condensate drain pipe gets blocked by algae and dust during summer. When humidity spikes in June, the water has nowhere to go. It backs up into the unit and drips through your ceiling panel.
The fix takes 40 minutes. Flush the drain line, clean the filter, check the gas pressure. That's it. No new parts needed in 80% of cases.

3 Signs Your Geyser Wiring Is Dangerous
Older Mumbai buildings — anything built before 2005 — were wired for a different era. 2BHK flats weren't designed to run a geyser, two ACs, a washing machine, and a microwave simultaneously. Sunil sees the consequences every week.
Most geyser wiring problems give you warning signs before they become emergencies. The MCB tripping when you turn on the geyser is not a nuisance — it's the circuit telling you something is overloaded or shorted.
Three signs Sunil looks for:
MCB trips every 2–3 days
The MCB is doing its job — but a healthy circuit shouldn't need it. This usually means the wire gauge is undersized for your geyser's wattage.
Warm switchboard near the geyser switch
A warm plate means current is leaking through a loose connection or degraded insulation. This one needs same-day attention.
Mild shock when touching the tap
Earth leakage. The geyser's earthing wire is disconnected or corroded. Stop using it immediately and call us.
